Overview
Developed a modern client engagement portal for Flycare, an international travel and visa advisory agency. Designed an interactive country-by-country eligibility questionnaire that routes users directly to dedicated visa consultants with pre-filled case briefs.
The Problem
Prospective travelers struggled with confusing visa regulations and lengthy generic consultation forms, resulting in incomplete submissions and high advisor follow-up workload.
The Solution
Built an intuitive step-by-step React eligibility wizard that filters document requirements based on destination country and passport type, validating inputs on the client with Zod and providing one-click WhatsApp consultant connection.
Delivery Parameters
Project Constraints
₹45,000 project fee
4 weeks ahead of peak seasonal holiday and visa intake
Fragmented Google Forms and manual WhatsApp business chat routing with zero input validation
Engineered a reactive 4-step wizard using React, TanStack Router, and Zod schemas. Avoided bloated full-stack frameworks in favor of an ultra-light client-side validation engine that builds a structured JSON case summary and dispatches an authenticated multi-line WhatsApp Web API payload. Designed modular eligibility checklists that calculate necessary document requirements dynamically based on destination country and applicant passport jurisdiction.
Key Features
Engineering Obstacles
Challenges Overcome
Designing flexible state management to handle non-linear questionnaire navigation and back-tracking.
Formatting long requirement lists into easily scannable mobile cards without overwhelming the user.
Verification & Impact
Results & Verification
Advisor intake triage time reduced by 65%, dropping initial consultation back-and-forth from 25 minutes to under 8 minutes per case.
Zero invalid submissions: Zod client-side schema validation ensured mandatory passport expiry and visa category fields were complete before submission.
Mobile conversion rate increased by 42% compared to the prior Google Form approach.
Mobile performance optimized with lean client bundle and structured multi-step validation.
Initially, form state was managed in a single monolithic React context. As the destination country matrix expanded from 6 to 24 countries, conditional re-renders increased. If re-architecting today, I would use TanStack Form with fine-grained field subscriptions and persist partial drafts to localStorage so mobile users don't lose progress on unexpected reloads.
